Helping SME's Make the Most of Technology

Helping SME's access technology to increase productivity and efficiency is a key focus for CEDA's Business Team.

Business Growth Advisor Research and Development, Peter Ellingham, helps businesses to upskill with technology such as e-commerce, 3D printers, computer aided design and manufacturing to develop prototypes, robotics and automation processes. Artificial intelligence and virtual reality are starting to gain momentum too.

"Technology gives people the opportunity to reshape and grow their business," says Ellingham.

"Moving people from traditional prototyping processes to technology-based ones means that development times are shorter and more cost effective, resulting in products getting to market, quicker."
