At the heart of CEDA’s mahi is a commitment to building and promoting a bold, unified identity for Palmerston North and Manawatū. We lead the stewardship of the region’s brand, ensuring it reflects our people, places, and opportunities, and that it resonates with locals, visitors, and investors alike.
We manage ManawatūNZ.co.nz, the region’s online ‘shop window,’ showcasing everything our city and district have to offer. The website connects audiences to stories, events, investment opportunities, and travel inspiration, while acting as a central platform for the region’s businesses, tourism operators, event planners, and community groups to leverage.
We developed and continue to nurture the shared regional identity for Manawatū, grounded in community insight and research. This identity underpins everything from regional campaigns and media engagement to place-based signage and storytelling, building pride in our place and strengthening Manawatū’s profile in a competitive national landscape.
Through this work, we’re fostering a region people want to live in, visit, invest in, and be proud of.
