Techweek 2026 is just around the corner and it’s all kicking off in Palmerston North with the infamous Techweek Pub Quiz at Brew Union!
A sell out event last year, the quiz is back by popular demand and this year everyone is welcome to join in. Whether you are a tech head or not, you’ll be able to add value with all teams being mixed and a mixture of tech and non-tech related questions being asked.

Quiz Night
Where: Brew Union Brewing Co., Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North
When: Doors open from 5:30pm. Quiz starts at 6:00pm sharp

The event is proudly delivered by ManawaTech and CEDA with tickets koha (donation). All funds raised will go towards the Palmerston North Hospital Foundation’s surgical robot project.
“Techweek is a great event held right across Aotearoa, and the uptake in Manawatū in past years has been great to see,” says CEDA Customer Navigator, Peter Ellingham.
“The tech sector is thriving here, and programmes like Techweek show that. Events like the quiz allow locals from the wider business community the chance to explore the industry, connect with our experts, and of course have some fun.”
Techweek 2026 will take place from 18 to 24 May with events being held across the region. From opportunities to safely ‘e-cycle’ old or excess equipment, to panel discussions on the future of AI, to drop-in sessions where you can talk directly to tech experts in their field – there is something for everyone!
