CEDA proudly partners with the Central Skills Hub to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers through programmes that enable connections to be made. Creating opportunities for people to engage in employment pathways, particularly in one of our region’s sectors of strength is crucial to the continued development and growth of our local economy. Manawatū is a significant Transport, Logistics and Distribution Hub with many construction employers who are looking for skilled employees and Central Skills Hub works to connect these two groups.
CEDA leads and facilitates the connection between Central Skills Hub, Talent Central and the National Driver Training Centre to first ensure locals have the skills required to work in infrastructure and then providing connections to get these skilled people into work.
